Sources and corrections
The original roundup mixed real incidents, stale patch status, forecasts and claims that could not be verified. This register keeps them separate.
Coverage and original notices
| Topic | Current evidence | Read |
|---|---|---|
| PHP | Patches available Two critical engine flaws. Match the web-serving runtime and its distributor build, then verify the deployment. | Original source Guide and limits |
| LiteLLM | Compromised release Public 1.107.0 artifacts carried malware. Do not start Python or pip in a potentially affected environment. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Railway | Credential rotation Vendor-wide rotation precaution, with specific follow-ups for AWS, GCP and MySQL. Track old-key revocation separately. | Original source Guide and limits |
| GitLab | Patches available A critical CE/EE flaw spans multiple branches. Find the matching floor and follow the required upgrade stops. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Node.js | Patches available Brotli remote code execution (CVE-2026-111497) and TLS defects affect supported runtimes. Include containers, CI and applications with embedded Node. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Plex Media Server | Active exploitation Older internet-reachable servers may already be compromised. A version update alone is not a recovery plan. | Original source Guide and limits |
| eMudhra certificates | Trust-store updates Browsers, operating systems and runtime bundles have different trust stores. One updated browser cannot clear them all. | Original source Guide and limits |
| TiDB Cloud / PingCAP | Management API keys All customers are asked to rotate active management API keys. The reported data volume is not independently established. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Zeabur | Migration deadlines Service wind-down begins in December. Export, restore, test and plan cutover before the relevant service expiry. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Tor / SSH interception | Operator alert Compromised relay hosts intercepted SSH. Verify host identity; the report does not establish broken SSH encryption. | Original source Guide and limits |
| SafePay ransomware | Campaign guidance Joint guidance covers edge access, identity controls and protected recovery. There is no single universal version fix. | Original source Guide and limits |
| Japan’s cybersecurity alert | Claim correction A cross-government alert is supported. The quoted formal emergency declaration and exact prime-minister claim remain unverified here. | Original source Guide and limits |
| State Bank of India | Primary access blocked The original exchange attachment was located but returned 403. Reported filing details are not promoted to verified primary findings. | Original source Guide and limits |
Corrections that change the next action
- PHP fixes were published on 21 October. “No patch exists” is stale. The 1.5 million figure is an attributed banner-based exposure estimate, not a verified count of breached organizations.
- LiteLLM’s source tag is not enough to establish the provenance of a downloaded wheel or container. The relevant payload can run at Python startup without a LiteLLM import.
- Railway’s all-user rotation advice is a precaution; it does not establish that every customer’s secrets were stolen.
- TiDB’s reported 10.6 TB extortion figure is unverified here. Management API keys are a specific customer action; they are not interchangeable with every database password.
- Plex’s CISA deadlines differ by CVE. A KEV deadline is not a reason to postpone remediation of an actively exploited system.
- Japan’s government cybersecurity alert is supported. The specific formal emergency declaration and exact prime-minister post from the roundup were not established by the retrieved sources.
- The SBI exchange attachment returned 403. Its detailed contents remain attributed reporting, not an independently read primary filing.
How to use this resource
Guides combine dated vendor facts with clearly described operational checklists. A version floor answers a version question, a provider receipt answers a revocation question, and a restore test answers a recovery question. None alone proves that a system was never compromised.
After loading, browser tools compute locally without accounts or storage and do not transmit your input. Hosting still receives ordinary page requests. No customer-system telemetry is collected by the tools. All public content and source files are downloadable; donations unlock nothing.
The site is a fixed snapshot, not a managed response service or continuously updated alert feed. Read the current vendor notice before acting, and use qualified responders when the work exceeds the operator’s competence.
